Monte Carlo TC x Jazz
Salute was bred in Denmark, on the instructions of Josh Albrecht who bought her dam LaGrace Eden from Vicki Nedergaard. She is the well-known breeder of the late stallion Iron, that was sold to Helgstrand dressage at a young age.
La Grace is a powerhouse mare with fantastic movement. She was bred to Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC (Glock's Dream Boy x United), a very popular KWPN stallion that is stationed at Blue Hors in Denmark. He was Reserve Champion at the Performance test with 87.5 points.
He since then showed a very good foals. Many of them were highly placed at the various foal inspections throughout Europe. They were also sold for very good prices at auctions. At the KWPN foal inspection in Ermelo, he received a very favorable comment from the KWPN Stallion Jury: "Generally well-developed foals with a lot of blood. The neck is well used in movement, the trot is uphill and light-footed and some foals show very good use of the front leg. The canter is uphill with a good hop and track."
Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC also booked great results as a young horse: he won Premium Stallion during the KWPN Stallion show and was a real crowd-pleaser with his powerful movements. He performed a fantastic 14-day test in Vilhemsborg, Denmark. The overall winners were Monte Carlo and Iron against a strong field of competitors.
His dam line includes four Grand Prix dressage horses and several approved sons. His mother is the ster mare Gina Ballerina, daughter of top sport horse sire United. Grandam is the preferent and performance mare Redensie, daughter of WBFSH-number 1 dressage sire Jazz.
We moved Salute to our farm after weaning, where she is growing up with Spritz SCF, the filly by Glamourdale that we bred out of Beyoncé and sold in 2022. Salute will be added to our broodmare herd eventually.
