Olympic Ferro x Grannus
Fraktura is the dam of our mare Vivian. She is a classic dressage mare with excellent bone and expressive movement. She came to us after having had an extensive Dressage career competing at FEI PSG/ inter 1. Earning an average score of 70%, Fraktura has proven herself to be a top sport horse. In addition to her show career, Fraktura has had five foals to date. Four from the famous stallion Vitalis and one by the Grand Prix stallion Grand Galaxy Win. We are pleased too add Fraktura to our breeding program and look forward to her 2023 Foal.
Fraktura’ s Sire, Olympic Ferro the Dutch stallion, competed and won team silver at the 1998 World Equestrian Games. In addition, Ferro competed in the 1999 European Championships as well as the 2000 Olympic Games, earning an impressive 80% for his Freestyle Coby van Baalen for the Netherlands. Because of Ferro’s outstanding scores along with his very successful progeny, he was awarded the prestigious Preferent title by the KWPN stallion committee. Ferro’s dam sire, Brenda, was by the Holsteiner stallion Farn, who achieved greatness in jumping breeding and sired many successful top sport horses.
Fraktura’s dam sire Grannus (Grannus - Granit) made a name for himself as a Grand Prix jumping stallion (1.50m) along with influencing the very successful G-line that has contributed greatly to the show jumping discipline. The Hannoverian stallion bred 540 daughters who were registered broodmares, of which 46 received State Premium awards. Grannus sired 11 licensed sons, and 80 approved sons.
